I can haz kittens!!!
I went to pick them up today from the HS. There's a calico girl and a gray-tabby-and-white boy. They both have an upper respiratory infection, and boycat keeps going into sneezing fits. I have to give them meds 3x/day and then they go back for a checkup in a week.
They weren't too bad on the ride over, just a couple of sad/anxious mews (and a lot of sneezing). I put them in their crate and they are adjusting well. Girlcat is calmer and more cautious, and didn't struggle much when she got the eye medicine. Boycat, who is scrawnier and more restless than girlcat, keeps trying to climb up to the top of the crate, which is adorable, and also eating his kitty litter, which is less adorable. But that's why I have the litter that's made of corn, STEPHEN COLBERT. Neither of them has actually used the litter for its intended purpose yet, but I have faith.
I need names! Suggestions?
